Young Adult Therapy

I encourage young adults to pursue their most audacious, ambitious dreams and aspirations. Sometimes, while we're working our way toward these dreams, things can get in the way. For the last six years, I have worked with  adolescents, and young adults  to address challenges, learn new skills, and clear pathways to more peaceful, rewarding lives. My area of focus is broad, and includes issues related to anxiety and depression; foster care and permanency; grief and loss; self-harm; and gender-identity and sexuality concerns.

Parent Therapy

As parents, it can be frustrating to feel like you've done everything in your power to help your child and are unable to come up with a solution. If this scenario sounds like something you're going through, please reach out so that we can work together to find strategies to assist your child as they go through this journey. We can also address parenting strategies and stress management to help support you and your child's overall health. Together we can help your family write a story that's filled with resiliency, strength, forgiveness, and healing.

Adult Individual Therapy

As a therapist, I use  cognitive therapy, that includes lessons that will help reinforce what you are learn in during session. I assist you in identifying how feelings can influence thoughts and then how to change  your thoughts to change your feelings. I strive to support individuals to learn to practice new ways of thinking and being in the world and in their relationships. Our need to stay busy in our minds and in our bodies in order to escape difficult feelings creates depression and anxiety and keeps us from healing. I help people slow down and learn how to make a genuine connection to their inner selves and begin to find safe ways to heal.
